Tahoe Chamber's farm-to-fork festival returns to Bijou Community Park. Gates open at 1 p.m. and the festival runs until 4 p.m. Admission includes food and beverage tastings from regional restaurants, wineries, breweries, distilleries, and specialty beverage producers, with each restaurant paired to a beverage producer, plus an artisan market and live music. Organizers expect more than 1,500 guests.

Tickets. Sold in advance through Eventbrite at samplethesierra.com, on sale now and topping out at $65. Children 8 and under are free with a ticketed adult. The organizer's published refund policy is no refunds. Bring photo ID and your ticket confirmation, printed or on your phone; wristbands are issued at check-in.

Getting there. Festival parking is at Lake Tahoe Community College, 1 College Dr, entering at Al Tahoe Blvd and College Blvd, with a shuttle circulating the lot. The Lake Tahoe Bicycle Coalition runs a free bike valet at the festival entrance on Al Tahoe Blvd, and Lake Link, South Lake Tahoe's free on-demand rideshare, also serves the park.

Good to know. Bring a lawn chair or picnic blanket. There are water refill stations and no plastic cups, so bring a refillable bottle or use your festival glass. Vendors are encouraged to offer savory, sweet, vegetarian, gluten-free, and non-alcoholic options, but not every booth will meet every dietary need.

What you wear matters! 🌿 Choosing natural fabrics can help reduce our reliance on plastic-based fibers and give clothes a more earth-friendly end of life. What to Bring We’re creating a curated shopping experience, so please bring pieces that reflect quality, style, and are in excellent condition, gently used items you would gift a friend. Especially Desired: • Gently worn clothing and jewelry • Natural fabrics such as linen, silk, cotton, cashmere, wool, and leather • High-quality denim • Unique one of a kind pieces • Handmade and artisan samples • Handbags and exceptional accessories • Swimwear and shoes • All shapes and genders welcome Every item should be freshly cleaned, free of stains, odors, tears, missing buttons, or needed repairs. Bring a bag! Clothing tip: wear form fitting tank tops or shorts underneath to lessen exposure when trying on clothes. (Optional) Please leave these at home To keep the swap curated, we kindly ask that you do not bring: • Heavily worn items • Clothing with stains, holes, pilling, or damage • Undergarments, or socks Our goal is quality over quantity—think boutique closet rather than donation bin. (If you are a non-profit or artist interested in these materials, please contact [email protected] to get looped in our conscious consumerism circle) How it works: Purchase a ticket and swap 1 item for 1 item or join the Swap Society and swap till you drop with the "shopping pass". Members unlock unlimited swapping at all locations, and other perks! Members do not need to purchase a ticket, just show your active membership at check in, and don't forget you get to bring a complimentary guest! Leftover items are either saved for the next swap, donated to artists to upcycle, or given to local non profits Christmas Cheer and Vista Rise Collective.
