Our standard
We target WCAG 2.2 Level AA across every public page. We aim to meet this standard for new pages and to fix existing pages as we find issues.
What that means in practice
- Every page has a skip-to-content link and a clear heading structure.
- The site is fully keyboard navigable; focus is always visible.
- Form fields have associated labels and accessible error messages.
- Color contrast meets AA across our typography.
- All images, including sponsor images, have descriptive alt text.
- HTMX updates announce meaningful changes via ARIA live regions.
- Event and venue pages include an Accessibility Notes section where information is available.

How we test
- Automated checks via axe-core and Lighthouse on every release.
- Keyboard-only walk-throughs of the top public flows.
- Screen-reader spot checks with VoiceOver and NVDA.
