29th Annual Tahoe Forest Stewardship Day

Keep Tahoe Blue's hands-on restoration day at Johnson Meadow on the south shore. Volunteers help with willow staking and other work that stabilizes the stream bank, strengthens riparian habitat, and prevents erosion; some projects involve removing invasive species under staff guidance. Projects run 9 a.m. to noon and are chosen at check-in, ranging from easy to more difficult, followed by lunch for volunteers and partners from noon to 1 p.m. Open to all ages and skill levels with no prior experience required; tools, training, and support are provided.
